But seriously, I'm not sure that there's anything to "get" -- it just resonates with some people, and not with others -- like any other art form. I mean, the "blurb" on the TV (you know, when you hit the "info" button on your remote?) said something about its being a "mind-bender", which I really didn't see. I mean, the whole time-space continuum manipulation isn't all that novel; but for whatever reason, the characters' emotions felt real to me and had sympathy for their despair, longing and confusion. Maybe [WARNING -- GROSS GENERALIZATION FAST APPROACHING] the themes of loss and "what might have been" with respect to relationships resonate more deeply with those of us with a Y chromosome.
