This is the main reason that I was irritated that Giamatti didn't get a nomination. It seems unfair to reward the lesser of the two actors.

So, after the Knicks game last night*, I went to see Finding Neverland. Not a bad movie. But let me say this, Johnnie Depp can turn the biggest pile of cheese into something that makes sense. I guess if he can turn a theme-park ride into a hundred million dollar movie, he can make cheese watchable.

I'm perplexed that the movie got so many nominations, but I didn't question his at all.
