According to ESPN, some investors have made a bid to buy the NHL and all 30 teams for $3.5 billion. The league is playing it cool:
- "When someone's offering over $3 billion, we felt we had an obligation to the board to have them, at least, hear it from the proposed purchaser," Daly added.
Will this deal ever make it over the blue line?
