How many people rat out their former pot smoking buddies anyway? If approached by the FBI (or DEA), and asked, would you really answer "yeah, X and I smoked some righteous bud back in the day. good times, good times."?
(in fact, if anyone did say that, I think there's be a pretty persuasive argument that he was so wacked out of his mind that he must have you confused with someone else)
