I cannot tell if you are insulting me or commiserating with me. Lets face it, we are the new PLFs. Way off our game. Well past our sellby date. We aren't disenfranchised and disillusioned junior associates and 3Ls anymore, throwing off the clever quip between scanning of documents for privileged material. Nope, We are jr partnres now, or gunning for partner, or of counsel, or told that our partnership chance might be better somewhere else. We hve spouses, or are about to,. We have kids, or are aobut to. Or we are going through divorce while eyeballing forty at the end of some dark vaginal tunnel. We have killed a lot of braincells as we approache the soft alcoholism of middle age. We know that we billed 2.3 on the penske account but we cannot quite remember what we actually did. Funny shit just doesnt roll off our tongues anymore. We sound a little bitter, a little worn out and quite frankly, a little haggard. We all make jokes about how old we look without looking in the mirror at ourselves. And its not the kind of funnythat is funny bc it is real. It is just not funny. It might be time to take a bow, step aside and usher the next generation in.

Where are they?
