Neeeeew, I don't want to fuck with a local counsel who fire off those little ditties. I'm talking about the douchebags who say things during settlement discussions like "Well, back of the envelope, I'd say its 'blah blah blah.'" I read Paul Krugman (who was a terrific oped writer, but has gone completely insane lately) do it this morning. Hence the ire.

Were we to ban metaphors, I'd implode like, like a... you know what I mean.

ETA: To the douchebag who may write "that's a simile, not a metaphor," pull your fat sweaty knuckles back from that keyboard. A simile is a metaphor.
