The gays I know who like the tank tops think they have attractive arms. And my guess is that they are attracted to other guys with attractive arms, so they think of tank tops as the juicy couture butt huggers (no writing) of the gay world. Though butt huggers are also welcomed with open sleeveless arms in the gay guy world.
