Job Description Primary responsibility is to prosecute cases in the Amarillo Municipal Court ( a court of record with two full-time judges and one part-time judge). Typical duties include: review police reports to accept/reject class C misdemeanor charges; prepare and conduct jury and bench trials; negotiate with attorneys and pro se defendants; conduct appeals; advise the police department; other duties as assigned. Spanish or other foreign language fluency or , experience in municipal or criminal law is a plus.
