Kidding. Thanks to the satellite radio, I have no CDs in my car changer. Mrs. Not Bob has the new Gwen Stefani CD in hers, and -- as much as it pains me to admit, because I dig Gwen and No Doubt -- if I never hear "Hollaback Girl" again, it will be too soon.
The home changer has Paul Simon's Still Crazy After All These Years, Shawn Colvin's A Few Small Repairs, If You Lived Here You'd Be Home By Now by the Nields, and a Nat King Cole greatest hits type disc.

Which one is Hollaback Girl? Is that the one that steals lines from (of all things) Fiddler On The Roof? Cuz I find that song (the "If I Was A Rich Girl" one) so fucking annoying. Please, NotBob, say you hate that one too.
I remember women thinking Tom Cruise was hot during the Risky Business through Top Gun era. Not much beyond that however. I thought it was the combination of (a) bunches of the same movie with the same boring plot over and over again (aka Top Gun But With Cars; Top Gun But With Pool; Top Gun But With Cocktails) and (b) because Mimi Rogers spilled that he doesn't really like the sex thing* so much. Hard to think of him as a sex symbol after that.
And finally, in my car stereo right now (I'm sure you are all fascinated) - The Pixies, Doolittle. I had Muse, Absolution and then Weezer, whatever the name of the new album is, on rotation until I had to take them into the house for Mr Man's benefit. I haven't bought the new Gorillaz, but I am intrigued. My recollection of the first album was that it was about half good, half unlistenable. I hope they have improved that ratio.
Ironweed, I'm not sure what the "roo woo koo koo" song is, but I now have Bob and Doug McKenzie's Great White North in my head.
