My great grandparents names (can't remember one set) aren't any better - Ruth, Lessie & Lucille; Walter, Sidney and Alexander. Alexander isn't so bad, but I'd probably use the celtic form, Alisdair, and get my kid beaten up a lot.
Now, the Mr. had one great grandmother named Henrietta. I always think of that name fondly, because of the hippo on TV.
