I like Katherine, but I'm sure my liking of that will be excorciated. Exorciated. Whatever. gwinky, it may make you feel better that I'm not sure whether her name was spelled with a K or a C. I apparently met her when I was a tiny tiny infant but she died before I hit 2.
If I were to breed, which I'm not, and I had a daughter, I might name her Amanda after a high school friend. That Amanda was named after a high school friend of her mom's. Plus it's a song, I think, by some hair band. I could be wrong about either the existence of the song or the hair-band-i-ness of the group. Came out in the mid or late 80s, I think, if it indeed exists.
