You just have to put up with people calling you, for the rest of your life, what they learned to call you when you first met.
The idea that your parents don't know how to pronounce the name they gave your sister is pretty hilarious, though. She can change the pronounciation all she wants, but they devised the name for her, so they should know.
Freakonomics (again) has a hilarious example of a woman who was really pissed off that her new nephew had been named "shee-TAYED". Unfortunately, it was spelled "Shithead."
