What's up with 75% of the vibes at Cindies, for example, having scantly clad and / or naked women on their packaging? Just for clarification these are porn star/stripper scantly clad, not artistic and asthetically pleasing scantly clad. It confuses the hell out of me. Do the vibrator marketers think that lesbians are the only ones that buy vibrators? Does market research indicate that guys buy vibrators for their girlfriends? Do they think that naked women are going to turn on other women? Are they trying to tell us that if we use their vibrator we'll become porn stars or strippers? This rant was a lot longer elsewhere, but I don't get it.

BTW
  • The Doc Johnson velvet vibe that I got on the particular porn shop trip that percipitated this rant makes me want to get more in different sizes. I'm really digging the texture.
  • I've never bought a vibrator from a store that didn't immediately test it as I purchased it due to absolute "no returns" policies. Stores with these policies include Good Vibrations, Babes in Toyland, the Erotic Cabaret and the aforementionted Cindies.

ETA: apparently I ranted about this before here too. Damnit, I need to keep my fora straight.
