I figured out yesterday how to fight bad socks. I accuse them of being a very dull/dumb poster and hang on to the thought. The sock'll deny it, but just keep hitting them with the accusiation. They can't win and if you pick carefully enough the taint is too strong for the nuisance sock to keep going.
I'm not talking about my beloved triumverate of tribute socks, the existence of which honors me.
