We were leaving LaGuardia the morning after weather had cancelled all flights. The place was a nightmare of lines of angry people waiting to see ticket agents. and the lines didn't move because no one had a problem that had a solution- there were only a few seats on a few flights and most of these guys weren't going anywhere. Anyway, there was no way to check a bag without a long wait.
Since we had packed for carry on only, we walked straight to eticket and then cooled off in the World Club with a refreshing cocktail. She finally had to admit I was right.
I did keep an eye on the door fearing the rabble might kick it down after a night's sleep in the concourse. Good thing for increased security. The Russian revolution started sort of like that.

You have to check bags when you fly with suits for a wedding. Fuuuuuuuuck LaGuardia. And fuuuuuck JFK. I haven't flown out of any place but Newark in years. I will go to newark to avoid Philly if I can.
