Wear the suit and take it off at the hotel. Vanity is not worth the lost time.
Philly is a horrible airport and actually gets worse once you leave the terminal. Car rentals seem like endless lines and the drive away from the airport is only rivaled by Charles De Gaulle for traffic jams.
We were estranged from the in-laws for years. Finally we were going to go and make up. In-laws have a 5 o'clock reservation (old people dinnertime) and we land at 2 so its all okay. then 1.5 hours to rent a car and then go sit on a freeway for 2 more hours. all the more fun was that the big fight that led to the etrangement started from our being late! It was a fun time.
the next day I did get a Pat's with mushrooms.
