SPeaking of people from before my time, I caught Paul Anka singing Smells Like Teen Spirit in front of a big band on Letterman. While it was nice to actually be able to discern the lyrics, him singing "hello, hello, hello, hello" while snapping his fingers and smiling through his old guy tan was more than I could bear.
