But, seriously, I am this close. I am seriously considering quitting after my bonus this year, selling my place and renting something cheaper, and living off the nut. Like you say - better to spend it now, and then return to work when I am a decrepit mess, and can't do the things I would do now. I could keel over tomorrow, given my lifestyle, and I would hate to leave it unspent.
