Go watch the first season again. There's a lot of dead weight. You say you don't care, but if you don't know enough to TiVo through it (such as, the first time you watch it), then you've got to sit through it.
And for some of us, sitting through 20 minutes of sucky is painful. Even if there was a 2 minute gem in there. That's why I don't think Atticut is batshit crazy.
