Sad. I'd been going there more recently lately in anticipation of the end being near, but I had no idea that it was going to be over this quickly. I think that I actually drove by on Friday and things seemed hopping, with no evidence of impending doom.
I think that I may have even stopped in there a few times on my way to work in the summer of 1990, when I briefly worked (among other places) at this Dominick's:
