Blech. Bagels should not be brown. I like a salt bagel... with yellow mustard. Almost like being back in Philly, where the soft pretzels sold on the street corner are a little slice of heaven.
And I like a Manhattan. It's the only thing sweet vermouth is good for. But I wouldn't make one with flavored whiskey, unless someone was holding a gun to my head.
