I wear socks to bed. I don't call them pajamas.
I always used to wear something to bed - either a t-shirt or a nightie or, it was really cold, long underwear or men's pajamas or something. Ever since I split with my husband, even while we were still living and sleeping together, I've slept naked except for socks. I can't bear the thought of wearing anything else. I think it means I've thrown off the shackles of my clothed marriage-prison, but I'm not sure.
