Problem is, is if her family has money to hire a decent lawyer and you smacked the shit out of this dirtbag you may not see your kids for a while.
I do think it's appropriate to tell the kids at some point that the reason mommy and daddy aren't together is because mommy is a dirty fucking whore and bill is a cheating scumbag.
