And he's going to be stuck with a serious relationship where all he thought he was getting was a few fast three ways. In the end, it sucks for all three of you pretty badly. But you get to cruise out guilt free, whereas your wife gets stuck agonizing over whether her choices fucked up her life when she's got to raise the kids alone later. You're just a guy who was dealt bad cards and did the best he could with them.
