Oh, c'mon -- it's not like I lectured her, or said "you shouldn't be saying something like that." I sarcastically said that it was good to see the grammar timmies retaining their ability to focus on what really matters in the context of a discussion about the attacks -- big fucking deal. If people can't take a little sniping back, they shouldn't snipe.
(And I think dtb can take it just fine -- don't know why you feel the need to rise up for her.)

It's not odd. I don't think people are exactly coming over here for information on family members or the news generally. People are coming over here for a distraction. Sometimes one of us needs a kind word (like those given to gwnc and whoever else today), but expecting dtb to avoid a grammar joke because people were posting about family members is pointless.

Well, thank god for Thurgreed. I thought it was odd, but happily someone is here to point out that, as an objective matter, it was not. Next time I think something is odd, I'll check with you first to get the correct view.
