In Ojibway, "Wawa" means "large goose." There is a town in northern Ontario called Wawa. Not surprisingly, an enormous Canada goose monument welcomes you to Wawa. The cops are not nice there though. They will pull you over if you look scruffy and two of my friends had their weed confiscated. Word to the wise.
