Actually, No. For the 1st 1/2 of a year, he let them hit a way and they batted .0000000000000000000111 with runners in scoring position.
Now he took stuff into his own hands and made up 7 games in the standings. Small ball works, especially with a speedy team with the #1 base stealer in the NL, and expecially at a cavernous park like Shea.
