Maybe David was a stoner bc he awas actually being Nate in his Seattle vegtarian stoner phase? before his dad died and he had to live in LA? Maybe thats why the Dad said "am i going to have to separate you two"? What was up with that van nthough? Was that the van from the David kidnap episdoe? Was it coming to take Nate away to his death? Was Nate sitting on a bed in church before it came? And did Nate actually say goodbye? I thought all he said was that the water was warm and that was it?
