No. The giant redwoods (Sequoiadendron giganteum) don't live on the coast, only in the Sierra. Closest are in the foothills, Calaveras State Park off Hwy 4. They aren't as big as the trees in Sequoia Nat'l Park, which has walk through but not drive through trees.
Coastal redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) are a different species and don't get as wide, although very tall.
