She has the failed marriage to prove it , which underscores your point about women who marry men they werent into. Many do it bc of social conventions taht marriage is the norm and this is what they ended up with by T. Or they are not able to support themselves economically or really want to have kids or move to a house in Palo Alto Hills and attend the Mayflower Ball.
I bet Less would mainly agree that I am mostly correct.
That said, there are excetptions to the rule. My close guy friend married a woman who he had to pursue (and she is no prize, trust me, she is the winner in that situation). But I think he was just the marrying type and that probably appealed to her. But she loves him very much now. This much I know.
I know another couple where the wife had decided before even meeting the husband that she watned someone who loved her more than she loved him. Probably for security reasons.
But my favorite couple is the couple where each believes that they cannot believe how lucky they are that the other person loves them too. This soudns very low self esteem and co as I write it but that isnt how it sounded at the time.
