You can't "screw anything up" in posting an experience by making what you perceive to be a name-drop gaffe. You can charm a reader who’s likes you case but thinks you’re a dick or is wary of some you. You can endear yourself to a reader and slowly create a stalker. But you can’t make a reader who isn’t interested interested. If she’s not curious about your story from the get go, cut bait.

I guess what I'm saying is, don't beat yourself up about the namedrop fuck up. Its not you; its her. Well... actually, that’s not true. It is you. But its nothing you did by posting that story, so you got that going for you...
