I have liked the book clubs I've been in, because I read things I wouldn't otherwise, and because I get more out of a book when I know I'm going to have to discuss it. But they always fall apart because it's a tough to find a time to meet.
I lied to Spanky about this being the book board, because there is one exception. The Harry Potter spoiler thread is out there and actually has generated some good discussion for those who have read that book. That book in particular, I think, has done well with its own thread because of the major plot developments in it. Do ya'll think it's a unique situation?
