It's worse than you think. As your agent, it's in my interest to inflate the percentages.
And I still think it's time to move to paperback or picture-book publication. I know you love the hardback with you in the smokin' jacket, but I think that we've exhausted the family and friends who are willing to shell out that kind of cash.
