Gravity's Rainbow is one of the very few books that I put down before getting 50 pages into it. That list only contains about 5 books, with the The Brothers Karamazov at the top.

I’d have flushed Atlas Shrugged down my toilet, but the goddamned thing is thicker than most Bibles (combined New and Old Testament).
I haven’t read Gravity’s Rainbow, but it sounds Vonnegutesque, so I might. I love Vonnegut. Perfect for those with short attention spans who want constant interesting asides.
