If the physician was competent in his evaluation and treatment of the patient, then there's no basis of complaint at all. Not being nice isn't reason to investigate. I've defended physicians in front of medical boards for pretty pissant stuff, but at least there was some medical basis for complaint in those cases.

As it is in defamation cases, truth should be an absolute defense against charges of unnecessarily harsh criticism.
