Hate that "real women" terminology - seems to imply not only what gwnc and ltl/fb said, but also that that is what you should now aspire to.

And I say that as a fake woman with apparently exceedingly minor curves.
"Gal" drains the allure out of even the most seductive phrases.

So, I've started rereading the Dorothy Sayers books I have -- most of which were printed in 60s -- I stole them from my parents a long time ago. I think I'm going to buy the ones I don't have so that I have the whole set. I think it'll be interesting to see the contrast in the cover designs.
