1. Teams cut players all the fucking time. Yez, I know the signing bonuses do an end-around, to a certain extent, the no-guranteed money nature of the business, but they are still at such an advantage, that I never automatically jump on a player when he holds out.

2. TO played his ass off for them last year and played damn well.

3. TO busted his ass to make it back in time for the Superbowl when neither he nor the team could find one doctor that would (i) say he would be ready to play or (ii) clear him to play. When his team needed him most, he worked harder than anyone else to come back and contribute. And he played great.

4. The Eagles made him sign a waiver freeing them from responsibility for playing in the Super Bowl. They essentially said, "We'd love to have you play, but if you hurt yourself, we're not taking any responsibility and you're on your fucking own." He signed it. And he did as much for the team as he did for himself.

5. His salary is below market for the level of player he is. Of course, he might want to take a step back and see that he isn't making what he should be making because he is such a risk to be a pain in the ass. And his latest round of bullshit is why he makes what he does. But, that ain't gonna happen.

\ . . .
6. And Philly is a broke dick team in a broke dick city that ain't never won and ain't never gonna win shit.
