Yes. I think that unsolicited love advice is useless. Even solicited love advice is suspect. People are stupid when it comes to matters of the heart, and they rarely take advice from well-meaning friends unless the advice conforms with what they were going to do anyways.
And if it turns disasterous, blame immediately goes on the advice giver.

Yes, I've seen that happen (never take sides if friends are threatening to split, because when they get back together, you're in trouble), but I've never felt that way about it. I'm lucky if I remember who said what, forget giving blame. But good advice seeps in, if not right away.
