Chuck Palahniuk. Anything. Fight Club is the most famous, but Stranger than Fiction is a great book of true stories. Choke is a great novel as is Lullaby. The others I'm still moving through.

He's a bit off, but if you liked Fight Club you'll like the other books, and they aren't macho fighting. The plots are always just really unique.
