I can't get my hands around aging. I fear a flip out Gary Busey period down the line. The monotony has me on the verge of tearing my hair out at times. I quite literally lived to do nothing but have a good time for so long that I am incapable of taking any satisfaction from anything other than that tooth clenching feeling you get after your fourth vodka, where Saturday night and you and a houseful of visiting fools has the night before you like a thunderhead. Without liftoff, what is there? I'm not sure I can handle the 40s thing. I'm not obsessing over it or anything... But people keep telling me how great my life should feel, and it just ain't there. Maybe golf is the ticket - its kept my old man acting 18 for the last 30 years.
