Golf gets less enjoyable as your skill increases. When you can shoot in the low 80s, the 70s seem like the Holy Grail. That is the madness of it.

I just walked away one day and never played seriously again. Things bore me like that. Ever get that? You know... you get really into something for a while, like you can't live without it, then... suddenly, one day you don't enjoy it anymore and you don't want to do it anymore? Why is that?
