ETA whoo hoo! I just installed a dimmer on the dining room lights! It's still a hideous track-lighting fixture, but at least it doesn't have to be bright enough to do microsurgery anymore!
However, I think I am going to have to hire someone to do the kitchen faucet with the pull-out head.
