Yep. I almost went fed a few years ago and got the skinny on the drug stuff from a very high staffer. At that point, the FBI was okay with applicants who had gotten baked as long as: (1) it was a while back and not like a year or so before applying; (2) you had smoked a doob maybe 10-15 times but weren't like a Spicoli or nothing (NTTAWWT). You had to have escaped the 80's, though, without having driven down that White Line Highway (though I had some tell me 2 or 3 times wouldn't disqualify you). At about this time, they were also raising the max age for joining from 33 to 35. I'm still thinking about doing it; just waiting for the standards to change so that there is no discrimination among applicants just by reason of me being a 40 year old former 80's Crack Ho.
