The CIA, ttbomkiab, traditionally has been even more stringent in their anti-drug criteria, although otoh, I know someone, whom I strongly suspect of being or having been in the CIA (I know as a fact that she/he went through the application process), who did a boatload of drugs in the 80s. Must have lied like Clinton.
I also know that one of that person's partners in crime got dinged by the FBI for prior drug use.
