Brain burp

Does anyone recall learning a specific term or phrase or concept in Contracts to cover terms or understandings or representations that are extraneous and are not considered part of the agreement becasue they weren't incorporated into the contract?

FYI, I don't need to know this for work. I just was discussing it last night and I cannot recall the specific term, if it exists, and it's driving me crazy.

(My Contracts professor absolutely sucked. Were it not for BarBri I'm not sure I would even know the elements of a contract. A fucking travesty.)
