Wasnt the third season the pube-in-throat, Jesus Mary season? I think you may be way off.
OIn the Kamikaze-Bingo episode, I thought the "chicken" remark went beyond his anit PC stuff and was just taunting, which is beyond his character. Then I decided it wasnt really what happened, just how the Japanese guy perceived it. It worked better for me that way
