To correct some misconceptions, though, you pay 5% on winning bets, but nothing on losers, so that comes out to around a 2.5% casino edge, except that the house wins pushes, which happens occasionally on the up hand. If one wants to play seriously, find a table where you can afford to bank every other hand, and do so. That negates the house edge on pushes (and actually gives a reverse edge because you are winning pushes against the other players at the table.

Don't think I can do Dec. 16, but I will be there on Jan 6-8, possibly with others from this board. And I may be there for the Vegas Bowl if Cal goes.

This is why its my moniker. I was all aobut killing time and getting free drinks while my boyfriend blew his month's eating money on blackjack and roulette (!). I went home with a buzz nd he went home to a month of pb and j.
