Please pay attention. I cannot believe I have to spell this out. My one sentence story covered all of Phoenix's problems:
1) Marie Callender's is a typical restuarnat
2) Its so clean you can sit on the sidewalk, which has that post-pynchonian thing that OC suffers from
3) Its so hot you can burn your ass on the sidewalk.
