I wonder if there's any sort of record of how often the BOB's (Sorry -- Chase Field's -- Jesus Christ.) roof has been opened vs. closed since the ballpark opened. I'd have to imagine it would be closed most of the time simply because, well, it's fucking hot there, dude.
(But maybe there are more people out there like Thurgreed, who love the hot weather, than ass-burners like Paigow. I don't know.)

I went to the BOB in the Summer of '97. The first time you see people swimming in a pool just beyond the outfield fence . . . well it's a very strange thing to see. Beautiful park though, no question about it. But every park is beautiful if you compare it to La Maison Construit Par Roger.
