Listen, whenever anyone leaves, there's a hole in productivity. That's how it works. Talk to the person, and you don't even have to bring up the fact that you know they're shopping. Just ask if they're happy there. Give them the opportunity to open up. Maybe it's something that can be fixed. But probably not. Most people who are shopping have it in their mind that they're ready to go.
